‘Umrah visas for Bangladeshis closed automatically’

 
 

Umrah1436187060Dhaka: Foreign Minister Abul Hasan Mahmud Ali said that Umrah Visas for Bangladeshi nationals have been closed automatically.

The Minister made the disclosure while replying a star mark question of Member of the Parliament (MP) Muhibur Rahman Manik during budget session 2015-16 in National Parliament in the city on Monday.

Abul Hasan Mahmud Ali said that the Umrah visas were being issued normally as usual after the season of Umrah. Saudi Hajj Ministry completes all the tasks related to the Umrah visa through online system.

On June 25, the Saudi Arabia government in a letter said that the Saudi government did not impose any ban on Umrah visa for Bangladeshis. Actually, according to the online system of Umrah hajj management, if the Umrah visa holders don’t leave after entering into the country till a specific number then the visa processing of the concerned agencies declared closed automatically.

The process is not only for Bangladeshis but also for all country people.

The foreign ministry of the country said that the Umrah Hajj processing went stop automatically as the number of Umrah visa holders crossed the acceptable rate in this year.

Again Umrah visa processing will be started automatically when the numbers of returnees come in acceptable rate.

The Saudi Arabia government urged the Bangladesh government to take necessary steps to return the Bangladeshi citizens who went there by Umrah visa.
