Press Release : Parents gathering on Child Protection Issues is held at Amanullah Adarsha Bidda Niketon with the collaboration of Birampur Thana police administration, Develop the Village (DV) and Birampur ADP, World Vision Bangladesh. In the session S M Moniruzzaman Al-Masud attended as chief guest.
Binoy Kumar Sarker –Acting Chairman of School Managing Committee has presided the program on August 31, 2014 at Amanullah Adarsha Bidda Niketon playground. Md. Mominul Islam OC- Birampur Thana police shared the role of parents and police administration to protect child from violence like early marriage. Liton Mondal, Birampur ADP Manager shares the activities that World Vision Bangladesh carrying for child well-being. He encourages parents to take effective initiatives to protect their children from abuse. In the meeting Advocat Morshed Manik –Executive Director, Develop the Village (DV) shares the roles of DV to protect children from violence like early marriage. Jabun Necha, Acting Head Mistress of Amanullah Adarsha Bidda Niketon has advised parents to reduce dropout rate of children from school. In the same time special guest Md. Mominul Islam Sarker- Head Master of Doulotpur High School has encouraged parents to take initiative for making their children regular in study.
Professor Jannatun Ferdous has speech on the session on behalf of parents and Sudipto Sarker on behalf of children. About 400 parents, teachers, NGOs worker, and students have participated and assured that they will not set marriage of their child before 18 years by signing in campaign banner. Md. Mamunur Rashid and Bablu Chandro Tarofder facilitated the program.
