Khaleda motorcade attacked again

Witnesses said a group of young men hurled brickbats and stones at her motorcade as it was crossing the Fakirapool vegetable market on way to Nayaplatan at 8:30pm, after her campaign for BNP-blessed Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) mayoral candidate Mirza Abbas.

The attackers went away after the local Chhatra Dal activists chased them.

On Monday, The motorcade of Khaleda Zia was attacked and several cars were vandalised by Awami League supporters at Karwan Bazar in the city while she was campaigning for BNP-backed DNCC mayoral candidate Tabith Awal
