CC Desk: Finance Minister AMA Muhith on Sunday confirmed that there would be no reshuffle in the cabinet of the ruling government soon.
“No reshuffle will be happened in the cabinet soon,” added the Finance Minister.
The Minister came up with his observation while speaking at a discussion meeting at Sylhet city, this noon.
He, however, said; “Reshuffling cabinet is a continuous process.”
Earlier, Syed Ashraful Islam has been removed from the Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development (LGRD) and Cooperatives while later he has been given the Ministry of Public Administration.
On July 14, a total of five cabinet members of the ruling government have taken oath as ministers.
Expatriate Welfare and Overseas Employment Minister Khandker Mosharraf Hossain was appointed as minister of Local Government and Rural Development (LGRD) and Cooperatives; Tarana Halim made her way into the cabinet as state minister for Post and Telecommunication while Lalmonirhat`s MP Md Nuruzzaman got the portfolio of state minister for Food.
On the other hand, Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal promoted to home minister, Yafes Osman promoted to science and technology minister while Nurul Islam Bsc made expatriates’ welfare and overseas employment minister on the day.
